We can paint about 10 guests per hour. However, more time allows for more elaborate designs.
Best designs are painted at a rate of 10 designs per hour.
For large community and corporate events, we recommend smaller cheek and arm designs. This will allow for more designs to be painted.
Occasionally, we can paint more faces or designs if we have a set design / theme or limited options available for the guests to choose from.
Please book according to the size of your party to ensure that we can get to all your guests.
How do I remove my face paint or tattoo design ?
Most face paint designs can easily be remove with soap and water. Lather the area that has the design and gently rub in a circular motion.
Occasionally, a faint residue remains, no need to scrub. Simply apply some moisturizer or baby oil, wait 30 minutes, wash with soap and water again.
To remove glitter tattoos, wipe the tattoos with a alcohol cotton pad and then with a dry cotton pad or towel wipe off the residue.
You may have to repeat this process to remove all traces of color.
You may also need to apply baby oil, wait 10 minutes and wipe off with a cotton pad or towel, and wash with soap and water.
My child has many allergies, can they still get painted?
If a child has sensitive skin or is prone to allergies, we will not paint their face.
If you are unsure about sensitivity please ask for a patch test when we arrive at the event.
If there is no reaction after 45 minutes, we will happily continue with painting. We use professional grade cosmetic makeup, but with all face painting and cosmetic products, we cannot guarantee a skin reaction will not occur, ROCK STAR FACE ART cannot be held liable for any allergic reaction to the paints and products used.
Please don't ask us to compromise these guidelines.
We are very good at finding ways to paint tiny toddlers. But, if none of our methods work, we will not force a child to be painted.
We will not paint or tattoo any children under 2 years old.
Very young children do not have a fully developed immune system or may have adverse allergic reactions to even products that are generally safe.
Parents are responsible for the child's face to be clean and dry before the child sits down for face painting.
For health and safety reasons, we will not face paint anyone who appears to have a skin condition or any form of illness. Instead we will offer an arm or ankle design.
What type of Make-Up do you use?
